Cedar Fox Coffee opened its doors in 2023, a vision brought to life by Allen Johnson, a Minnesota native who combined his Midwestern warmth with Sarasota’s vibrant spirit. The owner chose Cedar Fox Coffee to reflect a unique blend of qualities he wanted the cafe to embody. "Cedar" represents a grounded, natural, and timeless feel, evoking the warmth and organic elements of the cafe’s aesthetic. "Fox" adds a touch of liveliness and adaptability, symbolizing a playful, welcoming energy that invites guests to feel at ease.
Cedar Fox Coffee has a calm and homey quality, an atmosphere that feels more like stepping into a friend’s home than a commercial cafe.
